1. HANG THE CURTAINS HIGH

If you want to enlarge the room and create the illusion that the ceiling height is higher than it is, then hang the curtains high. You do this by either choosing a curtain rail that you easily mount on the ceiling or by placing the curtain rod higher up than your window is.

2. CHOOSE WIDE CURTAINS

By choosing wide curtains, you can also create the illusion that the room is larger than it is and it also gives a feeling that the window is larger. It is also practical because you maximize your light input by hanging the curtains wider than your window actually is.

3. USE DOUBLE CURTAINS FOR A LUXURIOUS FEELING

If you want to create a more luxurious feeling in your room, then use double curtains. You can, for example, use a slightly more darkening curtain in velvet and use a sheer curtain as a complement. 4. CHOOSE THE RIGHT LENGTH OF YOUR CURTAIN

Invest in a curtain that ends just above the floor if you want a more modern and stylish look in your room. If you instead want a more casual and trendy look on your curtains, then choose a longer curtain that rests on the floor.

Do you need to put up your curtains? Use an easy-fix band instead of using the sewing machine. All you need is an iron and scissors.
